Dickinson in Baltimore: Let's Cook!

Throughout the current academic year, we are offering regional programs celebrating 60 years of global education at Dickinson. We hope you’ll enjoy these events across the U.S. and make plans to return to campus for our big celebration during Alumni Weekend (June 12-14, 2026).

Dickinson alumni, parents and friends in the Baltimore area are invited to a unique cooking experience. In honor of our study-abroad program in Spain, we will join together to learn to how to cook an authentic Catalan meal. All participants will have hands-on instructions to cook a portion of the meal, and then we will sit down and enjoy the meal together.

Cost:
$70 per person
$65 per person for classes 2021-2025

Includes:
• hands-on cooking Instruction
• Full meal to enjoy with new and old Dickinson friends
• one glass of wine provided by Dickinson
• recipes of the five dishes served
Note: Schola Cooking Classes is a BYOB establishment.

Menu:
• Croquettas
• Cod in a classic Catalan Picada Sauce with Pine Nuts & Raisins
• Barcelona-style Paella with Chicken, Chorizo, Shrimp with grated cheese
• Green Salad
• Dessert: Catalan Caramel Flan
Note: Due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions.
