Join fellow Dickinson finance alumni through this Next Gen conversation, designed for younger alumni and focused on building financial clarity early in your career.

This one-hour session will break down the financial topics that matter most early in your career—clearly, practically and without jargon.

- Foundational investing principles & retirement planning

The session will be interactive, concluding with an open Q&A to address the topics most relevant to you.

About the speakers
Sean Arnold ’07 is a financial services professional with nearly 20 years of experience in asset management, spanning operations, supervisory functions, relationship management and financial advising. He is passionate and committed to building strong, lasting client relationships that span all life stages and multiple generations. His work is focused on guiding individuals and families through increasingly complex financial landscapes and helping them align their resources with long-term objectives through disciplined, strategic planning. He earned a B.A. in policy management from Dickinson and is a certified financial planner.®
Nav Garodia ’07 is a financial services veteran with about 20 years of experience. He has held leadership roles in public accounting and asset management and in the broker-dealer space. As an experienced management consultant and risk manager, he has worked with leading global financial institutions to design strategic roadmaps, conduct risk assessments and improve clients’ trading books, treasury and middle office functions. He earned a B.A. in international business & management, summa cum laude, from Dickinson.
Laura Chen ’11 is a seasoned financial advisor and a certified financial planner® with 10 years of experience in the field. She has a B.A. in economics from Dickinson and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. She manages investments for 100 households and is recognized by Forbes as a 2026 Top Woman Wealth Advisor for the state of New York. She advises women, corporate executives, business owners with concentrated stocks and charitable entities. She particularly enjoys working with C-level executives with complex compensation structures, devising realistic and tailored roadmaps that aim to grow their current wealth to retirement while helping to build their legacies. She is also a producer of My Money, My Wealth, a video series that addresses timely and essential topics that empower viewers to take charge of their financial wellness.
