Join us for our Alumni Global Adventure Jane Austen in Her Time, Sept. 1-10, 2026.
Travel with Wendy Moffat, professor emerita of English & Curley Chair Emerita of Global Education, who taught Dickinson's Jane Austen course a dozen times during her 40 years at Dickinson. The trip will follow the arc of Austen’s life, from the Hampshire manor house where she lived to the Georgian spa-town of Bath, the coastal Lyme Regis (the setting for Persuasion) and her resting place in Winchester Cathedral. Where better to delve deeper into Jane Austen's life and works than in the beautiful parts of England where she lived and set her novels?
Learn more about this Alumni Global Adventure during our upcoming webinar. We’ll go through the daily itinerary, activities and lodging details.
