Leadership Foundations With Jennifer Ward Reynolds ’77

Join us for our next Leadership Foundations series with a livestreamed fireside chat featuring Jennifer Reynolds ’77 and Emily Kelahan, assistant professor of philosophy.

This dynamic webinar is all about Leadership Presence.

Leadership Foundations with Jennifer Reynolds ’77
Wednesday, April 8
3 – 4 p.m. eastern time

Leadership Presence is the way a good leader projects confidence, builds trust and credibility, and inspires and motivates people. Of all the elements of leadership, this one is probably the most elusive. How do you show up with poise, humility, and the unmistakably sense that you are committed to solving hard problems? It doesn't happen over night, but it is something you can develop with time and practice.

Throughout this session, we’ll explore some of the things leaders do to build and project leadership presence. We’ll also look at ways leadership presence is developed, adapted, and deployed across multiple contexts—corporate, non-profit, family businesses, volunteer work. Finally, we'll discuss some of the things you can do early in your career to demonstrate your potential. Don't think there is a place for you to practice leadership presence right now? Think again.

Pre-Work:

Prior to the webinar please take a moment to consider the following questions:
- Who is someone in your life you would describe as having good leadership presence?
- What are some of their characteristics that lead you to describe them that way?
- What is some of the best advice you've received on how to build trust?
